Well we’ve had a productive summer at the new site for the Cheffins Restaurant and Bar but it’s not all good news I’m afraid. During the redevelopment phase of the site our projects team hit a few delays along the way which is unfortunately the down-side to renovating a 300 year-old historic site like the old Forester’s Arms.
The team are doing all they can to get us back on track but it’s now looking like early 2017 before we’ll be able to open the doors of Cheffins at the Beaumont. Obviously we’re disappointed by the delay and we know that you will be too but more than anything we want to make sure we get it right and we know that it will be worth the wait!
In the meantime, we’ll be bringing you more Cheffins news and project updates now that the building work is nearly complete – the roof is getting thatched, the exteriors cladded and the interior work is due to start in a few weeks so keep checking back to see how we’re getting on and thank you all for your continued interest and support, it means so much to us that so many people are just as keen to see the new Cheffins ready as we are!
